Dr. Chetan Pradhan is presently a consultant orthopedic surgeon & the head of Traumatology & Emergency Medical services of Sancheti Institute for Orthopedic & Rehabilitation Pune, India. He Completed his MBBS from the B.J.Medical Collage Pune. With distinction & his M.S (Ortho) Form SIOR Pune University. There after he worked as a assistant to Dr. D D Tanna, Mumbai , Which instilled in him a passion for trauma. Dr. Pradhan has received following international fellowships in the field of Trauma Surgery. The AO International fellowship (Switzerland) 2008 Emergency & Trauma surgery from selly oak hospital Birmingham, U.K. Fellowship in Trauma & Orthopedics: Queens Medical Center Nottingham U.K Fellowship in Trauma & Orthopedics: Katherinnen Hospital, Stuttgart, Germany. He has been working at the Sancheti Hospital since 1999 in various positions from a Lecturer to his present designation as the H.O.D Trauma He has been the secretory of Pune Orthopaedic Society in the past. (POS received the best chapter award during his tenure from Maharashtra Orthopaedic Association) Currently he performs more than a 1000 surgeries in (Primary & Revision) complex trauma every year. He has a Special interest in Nonunions & Foot & ankle surgery.
